I am a yellow dog democrat who constantly "tilts at windmills." I am an ardent believer in doing what is right and fair for all people and stay active in local politics. I am the mother of 2 sons. One is married, has a child, and is currently pursuing a creative writing major. The other son just graduated from high school and will be attending college in the fall. I think he will be majoring in girls for at least the first year. I can't help but think of part of my major identity as that of a mother and teacher. I have taught or been an administrator of a school for the past 15 years. After 22 years of marriage, my husband decided he didn't wish to married any longer so we are not and I am ready to move on with my life. I am passionate about causes, love to read and watch movies, adore my children, and am opinionated. I am strong-willed but reasonable and love a good debate.

I am seeking someone honest, caring, and verbal. Someone who can accept me and my family (because that is a vital part of all people.) Someone who is not afraid to state their opinion but has some tact and diplomacy. I love a sense of humor and the ability to visit with strangers. Someone who can be as comfortable sitting in silence as talking for hours.
