Living in rural Appalachia does not afford me the opportunity to meet members of the opposite sex, especially LIBERALS! I just moved back to the family farm where I was born and raised. I teach as adjunct faculty for two state colleges, am a licensed professional counselor and have worked with elementay school children. I love challenging my students to be critical thinkers.

I love nature, flower gardens, good friends, good coffee, jazz, intellectually stimulating conversations on my porch with a glass of wine, dark beer or champagne. There is nothing more "awesome" than watching the moon or the sun come up in the country, especially if there is a "like minded" person there with you. I enjoy country drives to nowhere and being able to hop in the car and drive a few country miles for a good meal. Love good books, thunderstorms, picnics, animals, have two cats.

I feel that I am continually growing and learning, but think I'm finally comfortable in my own skin and have a pretty good notion as to who I am!

A male that is comfortable with who he is, is not a sport's fanatic (meaning that's all he can talk about) someone who enjoys talking about any and everything, is honest, sense of humor, likes slow dancing and holding hands, likes touching and being touched, diverse in his views of society and other folks, can be tolerant of those who are "different", appeciate and not be intimidated by an independent woman. honesty a must and of course, being a good liberal goes without saying! And not "gag" when he hears the name Michael Moore!
