HMMMMM about me...a close friend would probably describe me as silly, contemplative, practical, serious, whimisical, caring, loyal, smart, stubborn, laid back, adventurous, quiet,.......and probably, on occasion, a few choice words I won't share here. I'd describe myself as very happy with life, it's is filled with lots of joy, and yes the normal challenges life throws at you. That's what makes the adventure!!

I'm a new 'empty nester' as my daughter started college this year. Learning to adjust and making new friends.

Favorite spots: the city Lakes, the Arboretum, parks; I love boreal forests, Ely is my heaven on earth...my soul "belongs" there. I dream of traveling to Greece, Fiji, Tahiti, Alaska, Vancouver... Loves and passions: Major (!!) music buff, of all types especially classical, jazz, new age, rock, just about anything, no C&W; Meryl Streep, sad movies, gardens, forests & lakes...I usually read at least 3-4 different books at the same time. I love Stephen King, Elizabeth Berg, inspirational/motivational, biographies and gardening books. I love to fish, hike, canoe, camp, take in the theatre, boating, sailing, gardening and hanging out with friends.
