I am an irish strong minded, independent, intelligent and very compassionate woman with a good sense of humor. I am very proud of the "It will never happen." policies and laws that I have spear headed and changed, making life a lot better for a lot of people. I am passionate about my convictions and am willing to go the distance for what I believe in.
I have two sons and two grandchildren and one dog. My youngest son served in the Persian Gulf in the Navy. I found it extremly difficult to not only have a son in harms way, but to be involved in a war I couldn't be any more against. I thank God my son came home alive and in one piece.
I am self sufficient and have had a very interesting life. I love to travel, and do as much as I can. I am very politicaly active. Especially in the past ten years. I really fear for the future of this country with the recent increasingly greedy, soulless direction the Republican Party is taking us.
I am 54 years old, but am always told I look 10-15 years younger. I hope they aren't lying! I am also not very photogenic. I am looking forward to retiring and traveling, going to the theatre and enjoying life. Unfortuantely, I don't have a date any time soon in mind. Right now, I can only dream about it.
I am never at a loss of amazement that this country hasn't run George Bush out of the country on a rail. It really scares me what people will blindly follow, even to their own demise.
