I am a life-long, passionate Democrat whose interest in politics is matched by interests in art, science, foreign travel, foreign languages, poker, and (yes, I must admit it) Star Trek re-runs. Most days I wake up happy and, so far, most nights I go to sleep the same way. I've loved and been loved but have never been married. I have friends, family and a fabulous job that allows me to do good for the world in my own small way, but I'd much rather do it with a man to come home to at night.

I don't believe there's only one person out there for each of us. I think the world is far more merciful than that. What do I find attractive? Smarts, humor, a sense of adventure, curiosity about people and the world, and a good heart.
