Well, I've started to get to the point in this election year that I can't even have a normal conversation with conservative Republicans, so I don't think I'll be dating any soon. I heard about this site on Air America Radio (which we should ALL be listening to daily!) and thought, "hell yeah, this is for me!"

I don't consider the word 'liberal' to be a bad thing - I think it means you're open minded, intelligent, educated, creative-thinking, and sexy as a fox! Foxes are sexy right? The media needs to stop hijacking that term and return it to the glorious definition it's always been.

I'm not a stereotypical liberal - I don't listen to Cat Stevens all day, paint rainbows on my walls, and I don't boycott meat. I'm more of a pissed-off, sarcastic progressive that dedicates a huge part of my free time in fighting conservatives, and the Religious-Right. Kind of like Bill Maher meets Randi Rhodes.

Anyway - about other stuff - I love the ocean, and anything to do with it. I play guitar and the recent Phish breakup depresses me. I have a lot of single socks, and that depresses me too. I love jogging, I love the Red Sox, and I hate John Ashcroft, who is probably reading this right now in his bunker 300 feet underground, near his favorite gay bar in San Francisco.

I'm seeking a woman who doesn't have to be political to be progressive. A strong, independent woman who has a girly side. Someone who makes that turban thing for her hair with her towel after she gets out of the shower - which I truly believe is genetically related to females.

Someone who loves humor, but doesn't laugh at everything that's supposed to be funny. Someone who is beautiful because she thinks for herself, and doesn't really need to be going to a web site to meet guys, but thought it would be fun to see what happens. Basically, the female version of me! Except for the girly, turban thing.

Anyway - this site is small, and probably won't grow to be anything near the size of other dating sites - so please, email me, email others, and lets get everyone talking.
