Ževolution or death
We've all experienced changes and transformative events in our lives, some more or less than others. Grew up in an apolitical home with no religious background. Went thru a stage in my late teens, early 20s where my mind was sucked out by the power of jay-sus, but I got over it when they tried to cast the demons of bad fashion out of me. Exposure to right-wing southern baptist ideaology and political hamhandery prompted me to re-evaluate the rather left-leaning beliefs of my idealistic youth, and re-embrace those beliefs. It helps when the idealism isn't struggling with the rampant harmones of puberty, makes it more possible to actualize.
I work in the "information technologies" industry, which translates to: i'm 'underemployed' at the moment.
I'm a habitual collector and archivist, from movies, music and tv to bits of data and information. I try to be as varied as possible in my interests, but I'm not exactly an overwhelmingly social person. I like conversation more than controversy, although I do enjoy a spirited discussion of disagreements.
Missouri, my state of residence, seems completely alien to me, despite my having lived here for more than 25 yrs.
