Why I'm a Progessive? Well I believe in progressive principles. I'm obviously an enviromentalist. I believe in human rights and equality and opportunity for everybody. I do not believe government exists to control behavior and prohibit rights but to protect the individuals, especially protecting the minority from the tyranny of the majority. I am actually a Green Party activist because quite frankly I think for the last decade or so, the Democratic Party has been trying more and more to act and sound like Republicans and conservatives! My long-time party is being corrupted by money I believe...but the new neo-fascists who have taken over the Republican Party! They are scary! So yea, this is one Greeny who is voting and working for John Kerry!

I am bisexual, but for a long-term committed relationship, I would prefer with another open-minded, progressive woman. (men are hard to understand and they don't put the toilet seat down! <giggle> Trivials such as age, race, looks are not important, just a compatible kindred spirit for a loving relationship. A sister Pagan or Wiccan would be great but that is not necessary either. As nothing is holding me in Minnesota, I am also open to relocating (gee, the Pacific Northwest sounds great!)
