I am a passionate liberal, who works to help save our environment, to end the war in Iraq, to concentrate on helping our own people; those who are downtrodden and homeless, to allow people to live their lives as they choose, whether they be black, white, gay, whatever! To this end, I believe it is essential that we keep religion out of politics! This administration has gone from fanatical to fascist in four short years! But most importantly, I am now seeking answers on this last election.....did we really lose? Or were we robbed again? This country is severely divided and this concerns me deeply! I am fearful of numerous things; whether my 21 year old daughter will be drafted, will the religious zealots try to dictate my beliefs, will my civil liberties be eliminated all together, who will Shrub put on the Supreme Court? These are just a few of my concerns. And what's going on with the media? They have been brow beat to the point that I can't believe anything they say! I find that some radio stations, such as Air America and Democracy Now speak their mind, or at least they speak to me!

But enough of that, a little about moi........I love music, animals, the mountains, reading, concerts, Lake Tahoe, Konocti Harbor, plants and trees, dancing, freedom (sorry, I couldn't resist), funny and aware people; I like nothing better than a heated debate about a book or a movie or Shrub.....oh God, here I go again!! I love to eat, although I am somewhat limited, as I am a vegetarian........additionally, I like a nice glass of wine or two. So, to paraphrase May West; anytime you've got nothing to do and a lot of time to do it in, e-mail me!

Well, he has to share my political views, that's a must. I believe that politics is my religion. That's not to say that I don't believe in God, on the contrary God and I are very close, but I am more spiritual than religious. Once again I love music and attend a lot of concerts, so it would be nice to enjoy that aspect with someone. I belong to the Sierra Club, the Wildlife Conservation Society and the League of Conservation Voters. I am deeply concerned for our environment and our wildlife, so I do what I can. We've had horses, dogs, cats, birds, hamsters, so animals are also important. We have three cats now, or they have us.......we seem to be at their beck and call! But most importantly and at the risk of sounding trite, I want a soul mate! A man with whom I can share friendship and love.
