I'm a physical therapist who specializes in geriatrics and currently working at UW Hospital. I'm very passionate about my job but have many side interests revolving around various social justice issues.

I'm involved with local political issues, recent local media issues, and of course have been working recently with various groups to support universal health coverage legislation in Wisconsin.

I also love to travel and am trying very hard to learn Spanish but it's not coming easy. I'm returning to Cuba (my 3rd time) in October 2007 with the Cuba Aids Project and hope to make a trip with other health care workers to Nicaragua (my 1st time) in November.

And of course I love my dog! I live with my sister and nieces and we have a great extended family set up. Also, the great outdoors is very important to me--hiking, biking, swimming, kayaking--the outdoors keeps me centered when I've spread myself too thin.

Someone who's passionate about what they do in life. Someone who is constantly learning and trying to make a difference in the world. And definitely someone who can make me laugh...when times get tough, we need to still have a sense of humor about the lives we live and the challenges life will always throw at us.
