I have many interests, including cooking, science fiction, travel, current events, sports (GO RED SOX!), reading, working out, interior design and so much more. I also love the ocean, and am fond of the New England coast, the Vineyard, Nantucket, and best of all the Hamptons of Long Island fame (my aunt lives there and I enjoy going there). I would enjoy the opportunity to learn how to sail.

I am proud of my liberal values and beliefs. Respect for the environment, compassion for people, and a desire for a better world moved me leftward with time. I am especially inspired by JFK's vision of a New Frontier. Progress through scientific research is something we have been losing in recent years, and I desire a return to a progressive vision in America. Liberalism to me has a strong sense of honor, something that is very important to me.

I am an avid sports fan, following the Red Sox and Patriots, and would like to meet someone who enjoys sports. Also, someone who enjoys fine foods and cultural events. I love gourmet cooking! Someone who also enjoys sci-fi would be a plus, as well.

I also am seeking someone who is physically fit and considers being in shape important. I strongly prefer to meet someone who is either never married or a widower. Kids are ok if you are widowed.
