I'm universally known as "KB." I'd describe myself as a sassy, sexy, whip-smart chick who hails from St. Louis, Missouri and enjoys inciting riots in the central Virginia foothills as a student at Sweet Briar College. It probably goes without saying that I'm a progressive woman of the new millenium. At the same time, it is my personal belief that Jesus was the first true hippie, and that Christianity and progressive politics aren't that far removed from one another. Also, going to college in the south has helped me realize that there is nothing more wonderful than a progressive Southern woman. (But don't worry gentlemen--I'm not a switch-hitter). Finally, I'm a big fan of political music and lyrics, notably that/those of Ani DiFranco, Bob Dylan, Neil Young, The Guess Who and others.

Sigh...a gentleman. Yes, yes, I know these are few and far between these days, and a recent relationship which ended poorly really drove this sad truth home. Nevertheless, I'm politically liberal but socially conservative. If it's sex and sex alone you're looking for, you're barking up the wrong tree. I'd love to have someone around who's equally as nerdy as me and isn't afraid to make fun of himself or admit that he's wrong. Oh, and a willingness to engage in intellectual conversation doesn't hurt.
