I like to laugh. I will choose a different route to a familiar place just to explore. I like to "car camp" ... take everything but the kitchen sink with... give me a couple of glasses of wine, and a low campfire, and I can stay up all nite talking and listening....and I relish waking up in a tent, beside a river or stream, with only the sounds of the river and the birds greeting the morning. I’m a crummy photographer, but love taking pictures. My idea of heaven is a warm, clear day and a cool, clear, quiet lake... and floating on my back watching the clouds go by. I am a lacto-ova vegetarian, a personal ethical choice due to my love of animals. I am a self professed Christian, with "mystical" beliefs. I am not a bible thumper nor do I feel the need to proselytize the world. After my partner of 20 years left me in June, I chose to move to central Orygun with my 76 year old mother who is in final stages of cancer, so that we could both be closer to the rest of the family. My best friend is a 3 year old tomcat who is indoor full time. I like computers. I like romantic comedies. I like John Grisham novels. I like treating my nieces and nephews to time without their parents. I am probably more financially encumbered than is sensible. Unless I hit the lottery, I’ll never be rich, and that's okay with me (but I buy a ticket most every week). I am honest and faithful in my relationships, and expect the same in return. I am an Anacrophobe, but prefer that you let me escort a spider outside instead of killing it...I personally don't believe that just because something annoys or scares me is a reason to kill it...if that were the case, there would be fewer humans walking the earth...I am intolerant of double standards, and hypocrisy, and lying. People think I am a strong person, but I long to have someone who looks out for me, and can hold me when i just need to be held.

Someone who accepts me just the way I am...not just in theory, but in action. Someone who will play with me when I ask them to play, and will ask me to come out and play when they are in the mood. Someone who is not into playing games, but will communicate with me openly and honestly, and with compassion and understanding. Someone who embraces my love of the earth, and the beings who inhabit it. Preferably a non-meat eating person, who doesn't smoke, and only drinks for fun, not because of any monkey on their back. I don't wish to be with/around folks doing illegal drugs. Someone who doesn't think it cramps their style to pick up a phone and tell me they are going to be late. Someone who respects me, and themselves. Someone who values family... blood, and chosen.
