I am a teacher and a coach. I love sports - play and coach and watch. I am always learning. I love travelling and have seen most of the US, Canada and parts of Europe. I like to discuss politics and the environment in social situations.

My family background is East coast, NY and Boston, MA and CT areas. I was born and raised in California but love the east coast mentality and culture.

I'm pretty intellectual but, also like very casual "unserious" bbqs and relaxing road trips with friends. I love football and ice hockey. I'm a USC fan (yes many of us are Left-wingers) and alum. I'm also an avid music listener, mostly rock and alternative bands.

I was a collegiate athlete in tennis and later a national-level hockey players so, I spent a lot of time pursuing athletics. I am interested in meeting a "potential" mr. right...er, I mean LEFT. I want to have kids some day, too.

My Dem roots go way back and as a youngster I walked precincts for Bobby Kennedy, HHH, and in the later years Carter and Clinton. I haven't done that kind of thing in a while but, I remember it fondly.

I'd like to meet a man, close to 6ft. tall, light eyes... smart but not necessarily "formally educated". It is important that he like activity and hopefully affection. It would be great if you like USC too!! I would get along best with someone who is confident and takes charge but, also respects my level of intellect and is willing to let me run things once in a while.
I want to meet someone who is goal-oriented and is interested in a "potential long term relationship".
