I came of age in the late 60s early 70s when political action was an integral part of life. I've always believed that social action and support of the Constitution were linch pens in the structure of a free and progressive America. And the insanity going on within the present administration has heated up my passion even more than Nixon did - which I didn't think possible! I'm a writer with a national paper. I have a grown son whom I adore, and a large group of friends and family. Life in general is quite good. But I would like to meet a special man who holds similar political beliefs. I also read contantly, love movies and TV, can't live without jazz music and occasional nights on the town. I've also worked as a professional singer. And I must have my daily ration of Jon Stewart so I can go to bed content.

An intelligent man who has strong political opinions and is active in either the Democratic party or is a progressive Independent. He can't be one-dimensional. Hopefully, he will enjoy a number of activities that he would like to share with me. Honest, financially-secure, physically active, a sense of humor and an irreverent view of life are a must. There's no reason why you can't have fun while raising Cain about the Bush administration!
