Energetic and intelligent with a passion for people. I'm financially secure, healthy, have had a fairly successful career, and donate a considerable amount of time doing social work in the long term care community. I'm slightly irreverent, but very compassionate, with a sharp mind and little baggage. (Well, maybe a tad) Love to read, explore new places, stay on top of and discuss current events and politics. Always ready to try something new, take a few risks and meet interesting people. I much prefer to collect great experiences than collect "things". This makes me pretty low maintenance but also a willing participant in most curious new adventures. Not a hard core liberal. Try to keep an open mind and try to listen with both ears. Last political book read was, "What's The Matter With Kansas?", which includes an interesting take on the "blue state" state of mind. We have much to learn about our red state citizens!

Looking for an intelligent mensch with a generous, liberal, spirit and an open mind. A man who is mature, sensitive, kind, gentle, intelligent, humorous and lively and makes an effort to give back to the community. "Mature" would be the operative word here.

It would be wonderful to share a new journey with someone who's been educated by life, doesn't take himself too seriously, is very connected to friends and family, and has a healthy level of humility.
