Plants and politics.... environmentally and socially aware. That's me! This tree hugging liberal works at a garden center in a southwest suburb. I listen to Air America radio daily and read quite a bit to keep up on the politics of our state and nation.

Politics aside, I love the outdoors and am currently taking karate classes. I should be testing for my black belt in June 2005. I enjoy basketball, softball, ice skating, gardening, fishing and sometimes four wheeling.

I am confident of my place in this world. I am capable of having an intelligent conversation or just casually shooting the bull with someone. I love my friends and family and know that all of this could be taken away in a minute. I try to have an open mind, be a good listener and be aware of others struggles.

I hope to find a person who's not afraid to be herself. I would hope she's comfortable in her own skin, speaking her mind and open to listening to others. I'd hope to find a woman who's intelligent, articulate, compassionate, patient and fun to be around. I want her to know I will listen to her, support her, love her and communicate with her honestly. I'm hoping she too will feel comfortable enough to communicate with me. I try very hard to provide an environment for my partner to express herself honestly. And of course I'd wish for someone who could handle getting lots of hugs and cuddle with on the couch. Affection is a must.
