I am someone who is serious about social issues but I am not so serious that I cannot have fun. I feel there are several ways to live one's life. One could be a materialist, a hedonist, or a thrill seeker. There are those who wish to live apart from others and those who are so absorbed in themselves that they can't see anyone else's sufferings. I want to live a contributive life. I still have a long way to go to be the person I want to be but I believe what's really important in life is how many lives you have touched, how many people you have given hope or courage to. I find myself working a lot of hours lately so I would like to get to know someone through correspondence first. I am a 53 year old Buddhist mailman with 2 biracial daughters. I am an idealist and always will be. I seek someone who is not so absorbed in themselves or petty amusements that they cannot see the greater world around them. I seek someone with whom I can share my hopes and dreams. someone I can communicate with even without words. I would like to form a serious, long lasting relationship or even a friendship. I promise to write back anyone who is interested enough to write or wink at me.
