After a difficult year having lost my federal job and won it back it's now time to get back to the things I love: independent movies, bookstores and my great love passionate conversations about politics and how to make this world a better place. I'm a writer and trying to be a poet. I love Charles Bukowski and in some ways finding my way through my poetry. Now that we've won the House and Senate we can make things right. Look for me in U.S. News and World Report next week so here's hoping!
