I love being with friends and meeting new people. I'm all about a sense of humor and having fun, although I do have a serious side (especially as it pertains to our current administration). I'm adventurous and like trying new things. I'm a happy, mostly positive person. I generally care about people and try to see the best in them and in situations. (Actually that might be a partial definition of the word democrat.) I'm assertive. I became active in politics after meeting Paul Wellstone whom I view as a hero. I volunteered many hours for the Kerry/Edwards campaign. I was on the Kitchen Cabinet as coordinator of educators. A dream come true would be to see Bush impeached.

I look for honesty, genuineness, and a good sense of humor in a friend. I am looking for a best friend, someone who can share in intimate conversation. I would like to meet someone who is attractive and takes care of himself both physically and emotionally. Someone who is kind-hearted and affectionate would be great.
