I'm a bright, articulate, and sometimes a little goofy soul. I have worked on social justice issues for about 30 years. Having raised 3 fabulous daughters by myself, I have experienced first hand how tough this world can be on those just trying to make a living and support their families. I have worked in Union and Community organizing drives and I'm active in my local Democratic Central Committee. Sprituality is important to me, not to keen on organized religion. Haven't been in a relatonship for a long time, too busy raising the girls, now they are gone and I'm left with just a house full of pets. Now I can devote time to me and being all that, that might be.

I'm seeking someone that is not intimidated by a strong woman. Who speaks her mind and likes to think. Someone who can engage in conversation and will stand their ground on any issue they feel deeply about, even if I disagree. I'm looking for someone to share my life not be my life, and visa versa. You must like children but not want to have any more of our own. I'm very open to being a part of raising any child you may have at home. An individual that is driven but also knows how to relax. And wants to spend that relaxing time with me. Someone who will tell me if they want alone time and communicate any need they may have. Someone who can act just as goofy as I do and chooses to love life what ever that brings.
