I am a die-hard NPR fan...it's my morning drive companion and my afternoon respite...and love that Ira Glass! Music soothes my soul...opera, jazz, blues, whatever my mood. I am a reluctant runner...just do it to keep fit...and work out with weight machines for fun. Biking and hiking are becoming current interests. And I love to dance! Though I have fewer oppurtunities to cook now, I enjoy that as well. There's nothing that pleases me more than people in my kitchen, sharing a bottle of wine, music on the stereo, animated conversation, and a great meal.
There's more to share...books, plays, travels,plans and dreams...as we get to know one another.

A friend...someone nice, polite, and interesting. And of course, democratic and proud of it. I have dated a republican (a conservative one at that) and we couldn't talk about anything but the weather.
I do prefer a person of faith as my own is important to me. If you dance...great! If you don't, well, it's not the end of the world.
I guess, most of all, I would like to meet someone nice who is interested in the world around them and enjoys being with people...friends and family.
