Do you believe in miracles? Montana now has a democratic governor and two democratic senators!!! I never thought I would see the day. Of course Montana still held fast to its republican voting record as far as the house but at least it’s a good start. Yes America, it’s time for a new deal. Lets hope the next two years will be the beginning of something great.

Anyone who had been to NW Montana should have a pretty good idea of what is important to me as you can't make a living here but you can eat the scenery.

Have you ever looked out over Kintla Lake on a starry night? The reflection of the mountains on the flat, mirrored lake surface will bring tears to your eyes. The beauty here is amazing. The only thing better is getting right down and dirty in the middle of it. When I get stressed or frustrated, I load up my tent and all of a sudden I don’t have a care in the world. Of course, now that that kids have flown the coop, I have found the tent is just too big and the canoe just too heavy. Either I need to downsize or find a new camping buddy. I have to admit, a new buddy would definitely be my preference.

Obviously I would love to meet someone who enjoys the outdoors. Of course, I’m not 21 any longer. If you invite me to do any 20-mile straight uphill hikes, be prepared to carry me.

Besides the love of nature, I would hope you are honest, compassionate, and have integrity. A twisted sense of humor would be a definite plus. Above all else, you would have to be understanding as, while I have a fantasy of a peaceful, quiet life, I have this activist heart that gets me in trouble every now and then.
