I am 50, dated a lot, never married, never found anybody that really inspired me. I am strongly Christian, but I am tired of people whose response is: "well why are you a liberal?" My liberalism is a logical result of my decades of Bible study and church work. My family is large and conservative but they're okay most of the time. They are solidly Christian also and wonder out loud why I am a liberal, but they mostly love and accept me.

Are there any women out there who really want to be friends with a man? If there are, I have met very few, but the ones I have met, remain loyal and sometimes intimate, friends. Usually just loyal friends. If you like men, like to just talk about whatever, and like yourself, I might like to meet you! I do like women who are confident without needing a man in their lives, because I can't make you happy if you're not already, nor can you do that for me. But two "half full" glasses can be quite a toast!
