l grew up in the depression of 1930-39 in a family with repub-lican father and democratic mother, both active in their parties. Myself worked in the Democratic campaign in 1940
while at college in Syracuse. Have maintained Democratic identity ever since, although I disagree with several points usually in the Dem platform. No party is perfect! Have proposed several planks for current platform in correspondence with dem nat com, Pelosi, and Clinton

A lady of appropriate age who is frankly liberal and who would like to meet an aging intellectual member of the demo-cratic party for mutual comforts. I would hope she is both cheerful and healthy and that she wears her hair long.
