Who I am |
|
A techie who can interface with the rest of the planet. I own a technology business that specializes in some pretty interesting areas.
Four life lessons I've learned: 1- Freedom and respect are vital to happiness. While at the humane society, I saw a dog that refused to walk while being led to potential adopters. He'd simply flop down, refusing to budge. He appeared destined for euthanasia. On impulse, I picked him up and carried him outside. Once free, he pranced all over the place. I took him home. 2- You can't understand something by looking down at it. While in Indonesia, I checked out of a five star hotel, into a local hostel and hired a guide. I witnessed many things I would have missed had I stayed in the stratosphere. This also worked well during my 6 years in Japan. 3- Its the pillow talk that leads to love. Have a mental connection? The rest falls into place. 4- Use the cold water setting and the colors won't run. ;

Whom I am seeking |
|
I call her and ask, "Want to get away for a few days?" A couple of hours later we're standing in front of the airport departure board debating Chicago, San Diego or maybe Mexico? She appreciates that while my business demands long hours, I always catch up on our play time. She's all heart. If she saw a dog wandering around in traffic she'd try to rescue it before it gets hit by a car. An eternal optimist, she views failure as a learning opportunity. She devours books. World events fascinate her and she can hold her own in any debate. She considers harmless sarcasm an art form. She'd drive out of her way for a Blue Moon pizza and knows the difference between fine wine and a box of blush. Still, she's not above drinking a warm beer at the beach or getting dirty on a hike. After a long day, she likes to sit in the bathtub together, I wash her hair and we talk for an hour.
