I am intelligent and have a good sense of humor. Not a Barbie doll, but not frumpy.

I am frustrated by all of the Right wing Republicans around me, and would like to become more active in the political arena in my area.
I don't work, and am attending college. Political Science is an area of study I think I will pursue next.
I enjoy reading and watching TV. Occasionally I go out with my friends and have a wild time, but I am pretty mellow and responsible! I like to travel to warm places, but also enjoy a good wild winter wind storm so I can bundle up with a warm blanket and a good book.
I really enjoy lively, intelligent political conversation with people who can think independantly and are not afraid to look for the truth, and not rely on mainstream media for information.
I live in a pristine part of NW Washington and I am concerned with the environmental impact resulting from the surge of population and new housing developement that is flooding this area.
The picture I have posted is from a friend's birthday party about a year ago. I haven't changed much, though my hair color does vary from time to time!

Whom am I seeking?? I'm not sure! He must be kind, with a good sense of humor, and also know when to be serious. Someone who has (or had) a good relationship with family, because family is very important to me. Not necessarily seeking a LTR right now, but someone who is willing to get to know me, become friends, and then let nature take it's course. If that leads to something other than friendship, wonderful.

Physical appearance is not the most important thing, of course. I am seeking someone that I am attracted to, though. As I get wiser (older!) I am finding that physical attraction is highly relative to my attraction to one's personality.

I am not an athlectic woman. I don't hang glide, or climb mountains, but do enjoy a walk on the beach, or just around the block, so the someone I am seeking needs to be OK with that. If you climb mountains, ride bikes for miles, or white river raft, etc., please know that I will wait for you to call when you get back!!
