I'm a liberal white male Buddhist living in the middle of Republican Hell (rural Utah) Help!
No, I'm not 6'9". Let's be clear about that. It would be nice if I were, but what are ya gonna do? What I am is stable, confident, funny, secure, honest, loyal, smart, spiritual, kind, brave and will be interested in what you have to say. Kind of like a boy scout, but older, and without the uniform. (Actually I quit the boy scouts when my scoutmaster couldn't find my pulse in first aid class, and said I was dying)
And, the things that are important to you will be important to me
I am a full time journalist and sportscaster, and also a part time forest fire fighter, and Haz Mat Responder. (I even had my own fire engine when I was full time fire. Are you impressed yet?) I am a great cook when I want to be, a good listener, semi well traveled, well read, and paper-trained. (just wanted to see if you were paying attention, there.) Not looking to change your life/religion/core beliefs, just looking to connect. I'm pretty liberal, and kind of an environmentalist, (Comes with the whole firefighting thing) I love jazz, blues, and that obscure music you hear on NPR. I was going to be an Episcopal priest once, but now have moved on to the rest of my life. Maybe, that will include you. Sparked your interest? No? Well, email me and maybe something else will.
