I live in the South, but still cannot let go of my New England roots. I have traveled a great deal, spent 8 years working in third world countries and perhaps will return again before I retire. My liberal thinking is not limited to politics. . .being an artist, I tend to think out of the box; creativity and willingness to listen, grow and learn from others has always been a trademark for me. I am Unitarian by faith, mainly because I feel all cultures and religions are defined by the universal quest for understanding and explaining that which is beyond the physical. I do this all light-heartedly though. Laughter, joy and friends is what makes life worth it all.

I seek someone that is open-minded, liberal and always wanting to improve themselves and understand those about them. Again, humor, fitness, tolerance and integrity are all values very important to me. Ideally, my mate would like to travel, explore the countryside, hike, enjoy theatre and the arts. Someone with an optimistic view on life is very appealing.
