I am a 55 year (56 by the end of the year) old who, like most, don't believe so many years have passed by, and you've just begun to live!
I am open minded, exercise daily, and try and keep mentally sharp. I sometimes wish I couldn't read because what I read is happening in this country makes me really angry, and as far as it appears, no elected officials I know about gives two rips about Joe and Mary Citizen. I know, if I would just watch Fox News, everything would be fine, and I could live happily everafter in a hallucination. Maybe that's why LSD was so popular in the Vietnam War era, do ya think?
Oh, I guess I should say that I have auburn hair with some gray on the sides, slightly above average looks, 6'2", about 215 presently, it was 235 when I lifted weights for bulk, but now just lift for firmness.

I would like to meet an easy going, smarter than me (but can tolerate my stupidity), better golfer than me(but can tolerate playing with a true hack) , progressive woman who takes pride in her appearance, and attempts to remain somewhat physically fit. Age doesn't much matter, but I know most women under 30-40 are not much into old farts or social concerns, even though I have met some exceptions interested in both, but they belonged with someone else.
