I was born in NYC and grew up in Ann Arbor Michigan; both of these places shaped who I am. I often call myself a midwesternized New Yorker.

I joined the Green Party as a teenager in Ann Arbor and have integrated that idealism into my Green Democratic activism for MoveOn and other organizations. As a Proud Feminist Single Mother I am both a scholar and a nurturer. My daughter (DOB 12-19-2003) is my world and I am still her world.
I am a far left lefty who drives a hybrid and is dedicated to living a sustainable life style. I am a vegetarian and have been for more then half my life; I do not demand this of others not even my daughter...I simply to not spend my dollars on factory farmed items.
It is my mission in life to be a real world change agent. As a college professor I seek to empower my students to be change agents as they go into the world as Teachers.
