I am a caring and compassionate person. I am very liberal-minded and believe that challenging the "status quo" is crucial. I enjoy discussing social and political issues and often can be found reading everything from Noam Chomsky to the New York Times. I do some volunteer work at a local women's shelter, as well work full time at a right wing newspaper.

I have two wonderful boys that live with me part time.

I love anything from punk rock and heavy metal to pop and alt country; My favourite bands are Pink Floyd and The Ramones.

I can easily eat a steak or go for sushi. I have to admit that I'm a carnivore, so I don't want to scare any vegetarians out there. I love eating vegetarian too! I have a weakness for coffee.

I enjoy bike rides and long walks.
