Politics extends to all of life's arenas and communications within friendships and intimacies deepen our understanding of the human condition and spurs us to take actions to improve those conditions. I'm a humanist which I take to mean parity, in both personal and public spheres. Fifty-two percent of the global population, women, do not have the benefits of parity and I devote my professional work to this issue by describing the debits applied to both genders, to all of us, when parity is absent for one.
I have a broader and perhaps more compelling concern - to achieve in some very, very small way sustainable development and I have in mind what I think will be a fun and challenging project to at least attempt and I don't want to try it on my own.
Liberals have more fun because they aren't in the business of controlling personal choices. They are more open minded because they do not have to exercise tunnel vision in order to hold to their beliefs. They haven't as much a need for tolerance because they are not as judgemental as those with less inclusive beliefs. Again, they have more fun.
The Universe is neither fun nor fair but I have been lucky --my life has had a good share of both and I'd like another go at is with another great partner. As to looks , I loook a good 15 years younger and I'm stilled called cute.

Obviously these are qualities I think I have. Passion for life with an optimism that may not be justified but is there nevertheless. Intellect, humor, wit. Irreverant, adventurous, high maintenance. Generous of spirit and with time. Loves good food and wine. Healthy and financially secure. Has good friends and would like to make more. Has had children and knows that they are yours for life. Wants whatever joy life has to give and manufactures some of his own.
