I like my work, really enjoy playing around and having fun, exercise regularly, and have acquired other healthy habits (most of the time, anyway). I read a lot (for intellectual growth as well as for fun), enjoy all kinds of movies and music, especially rock, blues, etc. Like concerts, all kinds of shows, and have been known to go to museums now and then. I'm a huge sports fan, and play whenever possible. Been in B'ham 3+ years, but I haven't explored all that much. I am trustworthy, loyal, helpful, courteous, kind, obedient, cheerful, thrifty, brave, clean, and reverent. That's actually the Boy Scout Law (I was one once), but it's not far off. Lose the obedient, thrifty, and reverent parts, and that would be me. Oh, yeah, there is the downside. I'm not at all easily angered, but if something gets me there I've been known to carry a grudge. I have no difficulty admitting I'm wrong when I am, but if I'm right I can be stubborn. But that's not too bad, is it? It's also true that kids, dogs, and cats like me. The bottom line is that I love my kids and I love my career but I would like to find another love. Still a work in progress, and I hope I'm never a "finished product."

Initially I want friendship, fun, honesty, and maybe a little adventure. Who knows, if that grows into something more, then that would be great. If not, then that would be OK, too. I have no great expectations about the woman with whom I might click. She will be bright, honest, warm, and attractive. That much certainty leaves plenty of room for uncertainty. I like my life, but the next chapter is not yet written. I'm sure looking forward to finding out what happens next.
