I grew up in New Hampshire, attended Oberlin College, got a job working at a newspaper in Birmingham, Ala., after I graduated and now work at a newspaper in upstate New York. I have a strong interest in social issues, such as poverty, and believe we all benefit from a society founded on progressive ideals. I like to read, write, watch movies, and listen to music.

I'm interested in someone with a quick wit, who is a creative thinker. I've realized that politics are important... that's why I'm on this site. Ideally, I'd like someone who has an interesting job, an interest in the arts and hangs out with interesting people. I don't want to be bored.
