I'm an aging hippie, ("Peacenik", NON-smoker, (Sorry, can NOT be around smokers, have NEVER smoked myself, but spent most of my life around smokers, and as a result, I now have diminished lung capacity!)

I consider myself to be Primarily PAGAN, but my faith is also a blend of Ancient and Native American wisdom, wiccan, Unitarian and egalitarian beliefs. I could be described as "Equalitarian". I'm sick and tired of the religious and hypocritical right trying to dictate to and speak for all of us!!

I'm a very liberal political activist, firm supporter of Human Rights for ALL people on earth, regardless of their age, race, color, religion, politics, gender, sex, sexual orientation, ethnic group, or national origin. I'm imaginative, romantic and free-spirited, have a curious mind, love to laugh, and have an unconventional ("Monty-Python-esque" sense of humor.

I have one daughter and one grandson in North Carolina. Two years ago I ended a ten-year relationship with a man 25 years younger. I have not met anyone since who really captures my attention. (Can YOU??)

I have a large, indefinite number of interests, there isn't much I'm NOT interested in. My interests include reading, writing, humor and comedy, mysteries, nature, travel, THE BRITISH ISLES, auto racing, bowling, billiards, flea markets, museums, libraries, historical sites, history, geography, genealogy, fairs, movies, concerts, physics, metaphysics, ALL music (EXCEPT MOST country), word games, other cultures, computer games, trivia, board games, card games,and my two SPOILED cats, Jules (Black long-haired male) & Mia (White short-haired female). They were named after characters from the movie "Pulp Fiction".

I would like to meet my soul mate. He should be intelligent, honest, well-groomed, open-minded, kind, loyal, daring, romantic, compassionate, sentimental, playful with a wild, sensual streak, somewhat impulsive, (incorrigible, a closet rebel like me) . Must have good sense of humor and like cats.

Prefer the man to make the first move. I'm most comfortable with artistic, creative types such as musicians, writers, & artists. I want a long-term relationship (with possibility of marriage??) and am not interested in casual sex (Although I do love sex with a person I care deeply about!)
