I'm a child of the Sixties- how could I not be to the left of center? And its part of my soul to believe in liberal, progressive ideas and solutions for social & political issues. And to work in various ways to achieve these goals. My vision for a better world includes a non-violent means to bridge cultural, racial, & class (and certainly religious) barriers worldwide. We must accept our differences and embrace our liknesses and demonstrate respect and mutual high regard for each other. Understanding that all of us want good futures for loved ones, a safe and non-toxic environment in which to live are universal hopes. Further, my "cause" is for the elimination of discrimination and the multitude of barriers surrounding people with disabilities. Yes, I am disabled (severe arthritis). And I am also an active and vital woman that takes on my challenges, but realizes my limitations. Oh, my libido is not disabled, however! I love to garden, read, walk my 2 dogs, go to the opera, hear good jazz & blues, see a play and.... I am happy to spend time at home as well! I enjoy walking on the beach and art galleries too! I have a strong Italian ethnic background.

I have no idea of what a relationship would look like at this stage of my life. I know that what I used to seek, I no longer do. I enjoy living alone, and being financially stable. I am 57 now and enjoy having my own home with my 2 dogs and cats (yes, people in my life need to be pet lovers- it won't work, otherwise). I seek friendship and possibly more with a woman that would like to more deeply discuss "who I am" and take a genuine look at the person I have evolved into these past 57 years.
