I'm many things, a free thinker, a lifelong Dem, periodic activist, optimistic worker for change, and still a bit lively and unserious as well thank goodness! I've been newly single for about a year now and would love to meet a new man for a fabulous relationship. I am fun to hang out with, like to go out and do a variety of different things, love to listen to music of many types both at home and at live music venues. I'm a big reader and believe the library is the best deal in town. I'm easy going and pretty flexible. I prefer fall and spring to summer and winter. I'd like to meet a man who is kind, patient,not prone to road rage and tolerant of individual differences. I'm probably a better match for those who have a little wild streak in their past (not those with jail time or a rap sheet though)and are interested in arts, culture, national and international affairs would be especially appealing. I'd love to meet someone to travel with, both in the US and abroad. Someone who appreciates music the way I do, who will say, "I heard this great new band today you have to hear this." Someone who likes to sleep late and have leisurely or active weekends but not just working around the house or watching sports on telly. Someone who can go to French cinema now and again would get additional appreciation. Someone who can grill a great steak would be good. Someone to bring me sweets would be nice. In addition, I'm more attracted to men that are fairly in shape or at least height & weight proportionate which is about what I am. But also we could meet and you'd be none of these things but you'd be perfect anyway just because of that old chemistry.
