Let's start with the last first....

If you got this far (thanks! You would be surprised how many guys never even read the profiles), I would also like you to know that I really am sweet and love doing little romantic things for my man including dropping off homemade cookies at work, slipping a note into your lunch describing our upcoming evening together, and will make you tea and soup and change the sheets everyday when you are sick. I know that many men think that "independent" women aren't affectionate, warm, romantic or sexual, but that's not true. You just have to be the right type of guy. Hopefully you are.

I have just returned from living internationally for two years and have a fabulous group of friends and family, but think I am ready for a more serious relationship than just "dating."

I am very intelligent and funny. I have a lot of curves and am NOT a model or a skinny Barbie. Let's just get that out of the way. I have curves. Some guys think that I am hot, some don't.


I love reading, traveling (not necessarily "vacationing", writing, teaching, dancing, exploring, eating great food, trying something new, latin music, and good reds, with a clear bias towards Chilean and Argentiean wines! I love to dance (salsa, merengue) and am hoping to learn Tango and I would love to learn some ballroom stuff. Hell, a friend and I just talked about going to learn how to two-step which sounds terribly funny yet extremely fun at the same time.

I am looking for a man who is a good listener, takes risks, is fine when he is not with someone or has a Friday night to just chill by himself. I am looking for someone who is NOT into a lot of flash or the ultimate hipster scene, although who does enjoy a good show, theater, cultural outing, etc. I love men who cook (because I really don't)and will write poetry on the frost of their (or my )car and likes to sleep-in on the weekends and then get up to go to a cafe and read. Deep passion and creative sexuality are a must.
