I am passionate about social justice and politics. Hmmm, a Christian who is socially and politically liberal??? Imagine that in this neck of the woods! I am a pacifist and do not believe in the death penalty. I struggle with even the concept of any corporal punishment. My sons and I worked on the Obama campaign, attended the inauguration and are still active in a local grassroots group we helped organize as well as with OFA.
My tastes are eclectic. I like camping as well as fine dining, large cities as well as a drive in the countryside, travel abroad (I've been to England, France, Spain, the Caribbean, Canada and Mexico) and within the US, animals, cooking, home decorating, playing the piano or organ, and watching my sons wrestle. I love the outdoors and especially the ocean. It's been a very long time, but I love cuddling up in front of a fire or while watching a movie on TV. Extra butter on the popcorn, please. I like action/adventure movies/TV and am a news junkie (CNN, MSNBC, NPR). I like most genres of music except rap and country, and especially like clasic rock, classic and new age.
